I (owner/lead photographer of Laurentina Photography) am excited to announce my fall 2012 mini sessions! In October, I will be hosting 3 different mini sessions (and possibly a 4th at the end of the month) in Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia. This is the perfect time to update family photos and get new photos taken for the upcoming holiday season at an affordable price. **Couples and pets are welcomed as well for no additional charge!
Here are the locations and dates for each session:
Session #1: Saturday, October 6, 2012 from 10AM – 3PM in Old Town Alexandria, VA.
Session #2: Saturday, October 13, 2012 from 10AM – 3PM at Brookside Gardens, Silver Spring, MD >> >>CANCELLED!
Session #3: Saturday, October 20, 2012 from 10AM – 3PM in Georgetown, Washington DC at the Old Stone House.
Mini sessions for each location will be taken on a first come, first serve basis. There will be 8 time slots for each date and location, starting at 10:00AM and running until 3:00PM. Since mini session portraits will be taken on-location and in the natural light, these hours will best maximize the amount of daylight required to capture the moment.

Mini Sessions | FAQ
How is a mini session different from a regular portrait session?
A regular portrait session includes up to 2 hours of coverage at the location of your choice with digital pictures included. Mini sessions include a 30 minutes session at a location I am familiar with and includes 15 digital pictures, rights to reprint, online gallery hosting and USB. Regular sessions are for up to four individuals. Mini sessions have a maximum of 10 individuals per session, so feel free to combine this offer with family, friends and neighbors.
What is the cost of the mini session?
$150, which includes 30 minutes of shooting (for up to 10 individuals), 15 high-res images, rights to reprint photos and online gallery hosting + USB.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes. I require 1/2 of the balance ($75) at the time of booking and contract signing. This deposit is non-refundable and can be paid via Paypal or a mailed check. The rest of the balance can be paid at the end of your session.
How do I sign up for a mini session?

What happens if the weather is bad on the day of our shoot?
The rain/inclement weather date will be the next day (Sunday) at the same location. If you cannot make that date, I will be happy to reschedule for a future date and time.
When will I receive the photos?
A sneak peek (1-2 photos) from each session will be posted on the official Laurentina Photography Facebook fan page within 48 hours of the session. Please allow 1-2 weeks for editing and uploading to the online gallery, USB delivery and a blog feature.
Do you have any clothing suggestions?
I want everyone to feel comfortable at their photo shoot. That being said, color coordinating (siblings, couples, etc.) works the best. I highly recommend warm fall colors, like oranges, yellows, browns and reds. Add some dark green, teal, purple and indigo in for contrast. Dark denim works well too. Sports jerseys are always welcome. You are FREE to be YOU! If you would like to be photographed in your Halloween costume, please come dressed in that as well. Holiday cards? The like.
**PLEASE NOTE: Due to the short time frame of the mini sessions, clothing changes will not be permitted.
I will also have some props on hand for you to use as you wish.
What to bring?
Tissues, wipes, anti-bacterial gel and a bottle of water (yes! stay hydrated even when it’s cool out) are good things to bring, especially with younger children.
